The XR-Spectra preamplifier is a low-power, single op-amp differential amplifier with a gain of 10 (20 dB). The preamplifier consumes only 580 µA. It is modular, and reusable. It can be connected anywhere in the signal chain; right after each pickup, after the switch, etc. It can be placed inside a stomp box to keep the instrument purely passive (no batteries).
