The Nexus-GK Basic set is a starter bundle that routes your instrument’s multichannel audio to your interface and DAW or external gear as separate analog channels. No MIDI conversion is included.
What’s inside (core pieces)
- Nexus-GK breakout box with six 1/4” TRS jacks, each carrying two channels for a total of 12 analog outputs (use TRS-to-dual-TS Y-cables to fan out)
- 12 V power supply
- 19-pin multichannel instrument cable
- Internal Breakout board for wiring inside the instrument
- 19-pin output jack for the guitar
What it does (Basic use-case)
Delivers per-string or per-source audio to your interface as discrete channels for individual tracking, processing, panning, or re-amping in the DAW or external hardware. Scales to 6, 7, 8 or more strings.
Typical signal flow
Guitar (Nu Multi or Nu Capsules wired to Internal Breakout) → 19-pin output jack → 19-pin cable → Nexus-GK
Audio: Nexus-GK TRS outputs → audio interface → DAW (12 channels)
What’s not in the box
- Nu Multi or Nu Capsules pickups are not included. Choose your pickup set separately.
- GK-MIDI module and any CV pots or switches for MIDI control are not included.
- Your audio interface and TRS-to-dual-TS Y-cables are also not included.
Note: Please take note that the Nexus-GK Basic Set does not include the GK-MIDI board.
