The XR Spectra continues to evolve. Version 3.1 marks an important stage in its development. After several years of refinement, the design for manufacturability has reached a point where production can continue without interruption. The XR Spectra is no longer built in small batches but produced continuously and kept in steady supply. The documentation has been fully updated, including revised specifications, installation details, wiring options, and tone-control information.
Introduced in version 3.0, the continuously variable Tone Block is officially part of the system, fully supported, and available as an option. It provides smooth control over resonance and Q, allowing a full range of tonal responses from open and transparent to warm and rounded while preserving the pickup’s full-range clarity.
