XR Spectra v3 Preorders Now Open

The February 2025 production run for XR Spectra v3 is currently underway. Preorders are open until March 7th, with a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks. The XR Spectra v3 is designed with a strong focus on modularity and customizability and supports various configurations, including the Nu-XR Spectra combo and custom footprints for bass and other applications. The XR Spectra v3 also includes the redesigned Tone Block which now sports continuously variable controls of frequency and resonance.

Pricing Update: Except for the Tone Block, which has undergone a complete redesign, prices have been significantly reduced from v2 thanks to improved sourcing and production. Despite the redesign, we’ve kept the Tone Block at its original price.

The Nu Spectra is the new name for what was previously called the Nu-XR combo—a combination of a Nu Multi and an XR Spectra v3 on a single baseplate (PAF-style for 6-string guitars, soap bar-style for 7- and 8-string guitars).

You can now preorder online.

There’s no separate order form for the Nu Spectra. For now, you can simply order a Nu Multi and an XR Spectra and specify the option in the order notes field upon checkout:

The current information in the online store reflects v2, but the documentation will be updated for v3 soon.

Take note that by default, XR Spectras are passive. If you want them active, you need at least one preamplifier.
