Busy, busy, busy…
Yesterday, I presented a scheme for the skewed Multiscale Nu Multi. Today, I’d like to present a scheme for Bowed instruments. I’m getting more inquiries on utilizing the Nu v2 for Cellos, Double bass, and even Violins. I’m not so sure about Violins due to size constraints (the Nu Capsule has a width of 10.2mm — wider than the Violin’s string spacing), but I think the Nus are well suited for bowed instruments such as Violas, Cellos, Double bass, and other related instruments.
This Nu Multi scheme for bowed instruments allows for height and curvature adjustment.
Tell us what you think! I’d love to hear your thoughts! Do you think this is a good idea? Can you think of ways to improve this scheme? I know very little of bowed instruments, although the Nus are actually being used on such instruments for quite some time now, so I look to you instrument builders, to guide me in the right direction.
